This period of Ann's work is a reflection of her time spent studying art in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. She was heavily influenced by the Mexican muralists and the vibrant colors and culture of Mexico. This influence can be seen in the artist's vivid use of color and her bold style. It all adds up, beautifully, to her unique sensibility. The artist's work is a celebration of life, and her appreciation for its beauty and diversity.
